Captain Logan is a fourth-generation Islander. He was "locally grown" in Holmes Beach, which is named after his great grandfather Jack Holmes. Captain Logan grew up on the waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and has been an avid fisherman all his life.

He received his U.S.C.G. Master Captain license and began charter fishing after graduating from high school while attending college. He calls himself an environmentalist who not only enjoys and respects the bounties of the waters, but loves surfing, kite surfing, skim boarding, wake boarding, scuba diving, spear fishing and playing his guitar.

He knows the waters like the back of his hand and enjoys showing charters his love and skills of fishing, the beauty of the back waters and the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico while experiencing the thrill of the catch of many species of game fish including tarpon, snook, trout, permit and kingfish...to name a few.
